Storage tanks in Pakistan are mostly utilised by companies throughout the oil and gas industry for the bulk containment of fluids at different stages of the refinery process. They often save and store products for a short time before transporting them for further processes.
The American Petroleum Institute’s API 650 standard outlines minimum requirements for designing, fabrication, erection, and inspection of welded tanks in the oil and gas industry.
Storage tanks containing organic liquids, non-organic liquids, vapours and can be in many industries. Most tanks are designed and built to the American Petroleum Institute API-650 specification. These tanks can have different sizes, ranging from 2 to 60 m in diameter or more.
